Saladette Tomatoes (Progress Report) Oh Yea!!

Being a newbie, I am trying various tomatos types to see which my family and I enjoy the most. One that I selected was Summer Salsa (Burpee's) which I grew from seed (and I have the most of, because I believe all seedlings should have a home  )

So far into the season my summer salsa's already have fruit on them, some more than others. Wow!! :D This is great!!

Realizing that Saladette types may not be the most "fun or exciting ones to grow", I just wanted to toot my horn on this!!

Don't forget to post some pictures when they are ripe

And as for saladettes, I personally enjoy them very much, perfect for snacking right off the vine, or sliced in half on the plate, 3 or 4 of them...

Happy growing!

Regards,
D

i slice the small ones in half, olive oil, salt, crushed red pepper and some grated parmigiano. fast to make, delicious, nutritious, tasty, flavorful, addicting.

I grew that variety my first year gardening. The plants made tons and tons of tomatoes! I hope you enjoy them ;)
