Tomatoes from containers are here!

Container tomatoes have not been affected by the herbicide at all (unlike the main garden), and few days of 90F weather is all it took for the colors to shine!

Danko, Taxi, Noire de Crimee, Lambada, Early Treat and Jaune Flamee:

Very meaty, very pleasant flavor, though a little mild for now, but then again, it is the first from the cluster. Eat half, half for seeds...

Looks great! I wish I could take a bite. I'm probably three weeks away from my first ripe one, I have had a few cherry toms turn red, but I think that's cheating calling one of them your first ripe tom. I have my eye on my Japanese Black Trifele as the likely first to produce a full size eatable tom.

Is that a granite counter top the toms are on? It must be highly polished to reflect like that.

Ps. As usual your photos are art forms.

Lunacy - actually glass table top, just reflections and the carpet under the table somehow gives that granite look in the photo...

Dono - while these are good and tasty, just pulled 12 plants out, damaged way too far... Oh well, just hope this does not stay in the soil through next year!
