5 gallon buckets possible for all varieties?

Is it possible to grow any determinate/indeterminate tomato variety in a 5 gallon bucket? Or are there varieties that won't produce that way? Looking at seeds and don't want to waste money if they won't work in a bucket.

Yerp. Many people do this.
See this for self watering. But as you can see SP8's tomatoes look great in 5 gallons. 15 gallons would work better with less watering. Moving them would be more of a hassle tho.

Good luck!

Are you growing them in 5 gallon soil buckets or hydroponics? You might want to look into hydroponics if you are growing varieties with high nutrient uptake.
