Tomatoes in the desert

I've read the blurbs in the catalogs and some articles on the web, but I would appreciate feedback from real people- which varieties of tomatoes have grown well for you in zone 9 or in the desert southwest?

you might try applause and blach prince they done very well for me
last summer applause gave me the biggest fruit (1# 1oz.) very good
flavor also, good luck.
