A photo of a hornworm with parastic wasp eggs

Just for those that have never seen this, I took a photo of a hornworm I found in my little garden. The white things on his back are wasp eggs, that I believe will hatch and the larvea will borrow into the worm and eventually kill him. Bad for him...good for me. Just thought I would share.

And this is exactly why it is bad to use pesticides, herbicides and insecticides. If people use these synthetic chemicals, the parasitic wasps would not be around to eat the tomatoe hornworm, also all of the beneficial micro-organisms would not be around to combat various plant diseases.
