Roma Tomatoes

Hello. I am new at growing tomatoes. I have a roma plant that has tons of fruit on it but none of the tomatoes are turning red. The fruit has been on the plant for over a month and no change. I have three other plants (2 cherry and a first lady) that I have been harvesting almost daily since I planted them in early/mid June. Is there something wrong with the plant or do they just ripen more slowly? Thanks for any help!

Hi Krusecooks,

With your larger tomatoes it could be the heat. Tomatoes can slow down in ripening above 77*F.

Thanks Newt. It has been extremely hot until this week so that is probably it.

You are very welcome. We've had a cooling front come through here, so hopefully the same will happen for you.
