tomatoe nightmare
This is my second post for this topic, please help!!! I have a small container tomato garden on my deck and was shocked to see worms boring in and out of my toms, and some rotting from the inside out. Is there something I can use that is pesticide free. Also, my vine toms are growing one big then a few small ones come out, why aren't they growing at a more unified pace. Help!!!!!!

Bt (bacillus thuringiensis - sold as Thuricide and other names) is an effective control for a lot of worm/caterpillar type pests as is diatomaceous earth. Neither of these are pesticides. The Bt is a naturally occurring bacterium that is specific to these types of critters.
If you spot them while outside the tomato, handpicking helps. Also monitor the leaves closely for eggs and get rid of them.
