Dried Out Flower Blossoms. No Tomatoes.

I'm getting plenty of flower blossoms on a variety of heirlooms but they end up drying out most of the time so I have few, if any, tomatoes producing on the vines. I check the soil with a moisture guage to make sure I am not over or under watering. I water the soil only. I have been fertilizing and added bone meal at the recommendation of our local nursery. Any ideas?

Is it hot by you? That could be the problem. Flowers will drop when it
s too hot.

Except for a couple of 90+ degree weeks it's been pretty cool since I planted my tomatoes in April. I have only harvested a few tomatoes so far. The plants are getting big (6' high) but a few still don't even have any fruit on them; on others the fruit are still small and green. Overall though there is not much fruit appearing on the vines.
