I grew both of those and they were REALLY good! I thought that black krim and marglobe were equally as good.

I had sugary grape toms this year too, and they were great, and extremely productive. With the recent raining boom, they have been cracking pretty bad though.

I also like pink German, but not as much as the before mentioned.

Black Krim has been the best tasting this year.
I love sharing the Black Krim with friends just to see their eyes light up.
I'll grow it again next year.

Orange Russians have always been one of my favorites, but mine haven't produced very well this year. Just had my first Japanese Black Trifle a couple days ago and it was fantastic.

hit or miss

Upon further consideration I would have to include the Tomato Rose as another good slicer.
Unfortunatly its been planted in a 5gl bucket.
It seems somewhat dwarfed but still very tasty.
Here is my list of heirlloms bests to best to soso slicers-
Black Krim
Tomato Rose
Red Brandywine
Purple Cherokee
Red Zebra (tough skinned)
Better Boy (hybrid?)
Yellow Bradywine (not heathy)
Aunt Ruby's German Green (still green-not ripe yet)
Best Cherry Tomato-
Isis Candy.
Already looking to next year!

So far, brandywine, caspian pink, and black krim are keepers for me. My other heirlooms. Well, I really can't say as they keep getting anthracnose and rotting.

I like Big Beef, Beef Steak, Jet Star, they are all the same type, same size, same flavor tomatoe. They slice excellent and don't fall apart. Perfect of sandwich and hamburger. Good flavor. Grow very well. They produce tomatoes in about 65 days after planting. Large producer of lots and lots of tomatoes until it frosts. Great for canning in mason jars. Great for chili, pizza, spagetti, soups of all kinds.
