welcome to today's installment of "my neverending tomato woes" (in the past month or so I've battled aphids, blossom end rot, mildew, what maaaay be early blight [see here]..... it never ends, does it.)
anyone have any clues as to what THIS is now, and what to do about it? it seems that mostly the top leaves are affected.
thanks in advance!

Fungal and bacterial diseases usualy hit lower leaves where humidity is higher and leaves are older. In Los Angeles, humidity/wet conditions are usually not a problem since you probably haven't had any rain in several months.
Tomato spotted wilt virus often hits top leaves because it is spread by thrips insects which feed on soft tissue.
