Early blight only effects the lower leaves of the plant.
Late blight effects the upper leaves of the plant and the fruit has spots.
Copper sulfate is the only thing that is orgainc approved that keeps LATE blight under control.
Blight famine can last 7 years, be prepaired next year.

I bought some 99.0% pure copper sulfate Saturday evening. Specific gravity is 3.6. I had to buy a large quantity just to get some that I could use on my plants today. I watered and sprayed all 30 plants before dark. The German Johnson plants do not seem to be effected by blight as bad as my other tomatoe plants. I have Beef Steak, Big Beef, Beef Master, Early Girl, Jet Star and German Johnson.
