Need help for Brandywine

Hi all
I bought tomato seeds. The packaging reads "Brandywine" but do not seem to Brandywine (old american tomato).

No that is not Brandywine, but it is a very interesting tomato. It might be Brandystripe, bred by Tom Wagner and renamed here in the States as Vintage Wine.

Thank you very much!

Some info:
good fruit production, and good taste. Excellent resistance to pests and tolerate heat very well. I live in north Sardinia, isle in the middle of Mediterranean sea, and the weather is very hot in the summer.

just some pics of "Vintage Wine", aka Brandystripe:

Thanks again, TZ -OH6.
I hope to find seeds of the Red Brandywine the next year. In Italy it is very difficult. Anyway, will plant again Vintage Wine.

It is not a problem to trade seeds between many countries. Australia has stopped all seed from entering, but I have traded with Belgium and Sweden with no problems. I am sure that if Italy has no restrictions it would be easy to find someone eager to trade Red Brandywine for some Italian varieties. I would offer, but I have not grown it yet.
