Silly Volunteer!

Hi everyone! I have been reading old posts for a few days now and decided to join. I have been fruit and vegetable gardening for about a decade now but still have alot to learn. Tomatoes are my absolute favorite. Melons are fun but nothing takes the place of tomatoes!

So I just wanted to say hi and share this pic of a silly volunteer that decided the crack between my patio and pool deck would make a good home. I think it will be a sweet 100 but will wait and see.

Thanks for all the good info!

Awesome it even has it's own trellis there with the fence. How much easier can it get?

Good luck on that one.

I was about to ask what that purple thing was. Seems to be a finger though.

Looks like it's doing fabulous, do you have any idea of what it might be?

Wouldn't it be interesting, if we dared, to NOT plant any tomatoes at all and see what grows? Definitely looks like a cherry tomato variety.

I keep saying it but it won't happen. "Next year I won't plant anything with all the volunteers I have". :o

Just ripped out some more today that were infiltrating my purposeful plantings.

Looks like you have some good soil under that patio . That would definitely be a picture to enter in a contest or send to a magazine.
