"tumbler" tomatoes in hanging baskets

P/S Besides my big beefy tomatoes in the garden,
this year I bought a packet of seed for "tumbler tomatoes".
These are great for hanging baskets.
I got the seed from Burpee seed catalog back in Jan, (13 seed came in the envelope).
All 13 have grown into nice plants full of blooms and baby green tomatoes.
They are smaller than cherry tomatoes.
I'm looking forward to eating some when they get ripe.
I love gardening and am tickled to find this forum!!!

Hi
I've just found this forum too and I've become quite obsessed with it. Hubby has to wait just a bit longer for his meals now!

Hey,
I grew these "tumblers tomatoes" in hanging baskets this year. They have been awesome. I grew them from seed, and worried if they would ever get big enough to produce any fruit.
Well they have, and lots of it.
I have so many little maters, what to do with them all?????
These are a little bigger than cherry tomatoes. We are eating them in salads and just plain. But does anyone out there have an idea or recipe, on what else to do with them all???
I just made fresh salsa with my big tomatoes, wow it's great! If anyone wants the recipe, just email me.

I've done Currant Tomatoes in hanging baskets with great success in the past and have seen pictures of other persons doing all sorts of tomatoes in baskets as well. It's a great way to grow them.
