I was given Red Alert tomatoe seeds, so I thought I would try to grow them this year . Most of them came up, and look like normal healthy seedlings....but one of them had three seed leaves instead of two. Well, I thought when it came up , this is not a tomatoe, but now the true leaves are on, and well it is a tomatoe.
Has anyone else ever seen a tomatoe with three seed leaves? Or maybe Red Alert has this trait? Or maybe this is a GMF and I shouldn't even be growing it?
Thanks
