Greenhouse Tomatoes with Unripened Cores... Why?

Perhaps someone can give me a lead as to WHY my tomatoes grown in a greenhouse in the UK have for the last few years had a unripened core in the centre of the tomatoe.

I have tried several different types/varieties and they all seem to be the same!

The yield is very always very good, can grow to about six or seven trusses, this applies weather I purchase seeds, plants or grow my own from saved seeds, even the self sets off the compost heap!

This makes me think its something I'm doing incorrectly.

Any ideas would be appriciated

Thanks in advance.

OK, my other post didn't show, so I'll try again. I think all tomatoes have cores except beefsteak, and you're supposed to cut them out, but someone please tell me if I'm wrong because I'm not an expert. :) Do they look different somehow? Maybe more detail would help.

Thanks for your reply...but when you buy toms at the shop they are ALL edible, but for the last year or so mine have not ripened completely around the stalk end of each tomatoe, this makes them almost unedible, this has not always been the case, maybe watering toooooo much or tooooooo often, maybe toooooo much or toooooo infrequent feeding.
