White teeny tiny bugs on my tomato plants

Hello I am new to the forum.
can someone please help me understand what these teeny tiny white bugs are on my tomato plants

also what do I use to spray that is safe for consumption?

Sounds like you have white flies. Is so they are one of the most chemical resistant pests around, because of being exposed to so many very toxic chemicals in greenhouses. All I can say is good luck. You may be able to cut them down or control them with your favorite sprays, but not likely that you will eliminate them, and they are likely to remain a constant battle.

when you say white flies I assume they fly? these do not, they look more like an aphid but from what I am reading aphids arent white so I am confused.

If the critter is aphid like, perhaps the first thing to try would be a soap spray of some kind. White flies are tiny and do fly all around. Anything that is soft bodied and stays relatively in place would likely be vulnerable to a soap spray or one of the other natural pesticides.
