Brownish spots on tomato leaves (pics)

Hi, I was wondering what these strange spots might be. I first noticed them a few weeks ago but they don't seem to have got any worse or spread to other plants. They're on my Matina and Gardener's Delight tomatoes (4 plants) which I'm growing outside on my sunny patio in washing up bowls (a tried and tested success!).

Thanks,

I'm not sure; other folks around the forum are more expert than me on leaf diseases etc. But one possibility is just that they got sunscalded. This can happen especially if they are watered and there's water on the leaves and then they are in bright sun. The water can kind of act like a lens and burn the leaves. If this is the case, it's not a problem and won't spread. It's an argument for watering in the morning and mainly watering the soil, not the plant. Sunscald also happens when plants are first put out, if they aren't hardened off gradually enough.
