Tomatoes are touching the ground

Here is my plant Big Daddy if you notice the big tomato is laying on the ground it is big and am worried it will rot. Can anyone tell me if it is ok or how to prevent it please.

I would not leave it on the ground. I'd either pick it and let it ripen in the dark in the house or I'd put something under it to keep it off the ground. If you put the lid of a can or something like that for it to rest on be sure to punch holes for drainage.

Be so sad to lose a lovely like that!

we stuck few wood chips under it was going to see if that does ok If it doesnt I will pick it but where do I put it to ropen..

I use plastic jug chunks and what ever just to keep them off the ground.

Just slip a piece of cardboard under the tomato.
