Wow, those plants are beautiful. I'm getting the itch to plant some veggies in containers since I don't have a spot in the yard ready yet. I'm in SoCal - it's probably not too late... :?: :roll:

sadly, no. bought them all as 6-10" seedlings. the bush goliath was 10 or so inches, and everything else was right at 6"...

DEFINITELY not too late. even it was pushing it, these days you can find LARGE plants for sale, for a reasonable amount. The local Home Depot has some tomato plants that are close to 2 feet tall. The local mom'n'pop nursery has similar options. and in such a warm climate (zone 8? 9?) you should be fine.

do it! it's relatively easy.

P.S. While I'm growing most of my tomatoes from seeds, I started a little too late I think... My own "seedlings" are at about 5"-6" just now. So I purchased few more mature plants from local nursery too.
