Italian Tree Tomato
I am thinking about growing the Italian tree tomato for the fun of it. Is it a good plant/tomato or just some goofy gimic I am seeing a lot of advertising for? thanks.
I grew it last year. It is a decent variety and I have a couple plants this year.
As the name suggests, with proper support, this is a huge plant. I'm going to run mine over the gazebo this year since it will vine up 12 to 15 feet. Shade and fruit is fun.
Taste is middle of the pack, not spectacular but not too bad either. I use it mostly for canning.
