What's going on with my tomatoes?

I have suspected they are getting too much water since the soil doesn't drain super well. We had three days of rain and now all the leaves look like this.

Am I right or is there something else?

If the rain was really hard, could simply be damage from abrasion. Though doesn't look exactly like it to me, could be sun scald. Sometimes the plants get very tender during a prolonged cloudy period and will then get sun damage when the full sun pops back out.

Looks to me like the chlorophyl is gone, right down to the membrane in the leaf. Kind of like with sunscald, but the pattern doesn't look right. Are these clear places on the leaves, where they have been damaged?

The picture is not focused well so it is hard to tell. The brown area are necrotic, I.e. dead.

I've seen this if it gets too cold for several days in a row.

Have your temperatures dipped into the 30s at night lately?

If its cold damage, the tomatoes should recover just fine with a few warm days.

They aren't clear, but they do have that look that dead oak leaves have to them.

We did get in to the upper 30s during the rain storm, so that would make sense. I have new green growth and blossoms already, so should I take that as a good sign?

Yep, it should clear up just fine. Next time there is a chance of frost, cover the plants with a clear plastic bag to avoid this problem.

It's been a while since I posted. Now they are all looking super healthy and two of them have started blossoming.
