I attempted to grow organic tomatoes outside, but due to a very slow flowing creek in my back yard, pests and insects were incredibly difficult to deal with and it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. I now have a fairly simple indoor hydroponic system set up with a 250 watt HPS that I am going to attempt to grow a cutting in. I have the cutting already - I got a great one. I'm just waiting for it to root in its cup at the moment, then I will put it into the hydroponic system.
I am using a drip system with Hydroton expanded clay as my grow medium. If this proves a subject of interest, I'll get pictures up of my set up and cutting by tomorrow
