I fiddled with saturation and exposure a bit to bring the colors closer to what I'm seeing....

Oh, those are real nice, Applestar! Thank you for posting that picture.

You know, I think color has a lot to do with the flavor of a tomato. Maybe close to 50%. It wouldn't mean that if you like one yellow tomato that you'd like them all but the flavor difference from the others would probably, always be noticed.

It is probably why some folks think they don't like tomatoes. Or, why some go crazy for "heirlooms" when they taste them  . See, what I'm thinking is that they have always tasted red, soopermarket tomatoes - or, their close garden relatives. Then, they taste a Pink Brandywine or something . . . Bingo! It wasn't what they expected. Look -- you don't have to like a red tomato to like tomatoes! I do but you don't. That's my thinking anyway.

Nice!

Do you have any Big Cheef Stripe growing? So far it amazes me the most every time I walk past it pics to follow.

I should flood this forum with what I have posted at the depot. Soon enough.

I tried to reply last night but had technical problems. :?

I think you are so right, Steve. :D
Did I already post this picture elsewhere?

Gixx, You gave me Big Cheef seeds but not Big Cheef Striped. BC is loaded with green fruits and starting to color break -- I believe first one may be ready to pick today or tomorrow... Taste test in another couple of days. :() ...Looking forward to your harvest pics. They are bound to be amazing! :D My few green when ripe are not ready yet except for the true Earl's Green Cherry (but I didn't have any for this picture) and you have quite a few antho varieties going (I'm still waiting for my lone Indigo Apple to blush)... Stripes and bi-colors, too, please.
