Yellow Candlestick Plants

Hey all,

My candlesticks plants are putting out seeds if anybody is interested. Grows very well down here in South Florida and attracts the sulfur butterflies (yellow) among other pollinators. Photos below:

No trade needed, just PM me for address and send a SASE...I'll throw some seeds into a piece of newspaper and send it off.

Oh!! I forgot ALL about this plant until you posted this. Thanks for the memory jog! While I can't grow this variety in KY (7a), I can grow the hardier senna marilandica (5a and up) in my zone. I had this plant when I lived in WI (bought it potted at a native plant sale) but have had no luck starting it here in KY. Just found seeds on Amazon and I am anxious to try it.
You FL peeps are so lucky to have such a warm climate :D

Hehe, with warm climate comes many bugs and diseases, lol

These plants are very nice, I like to watch the bees go into the flower and flap their wings to cover themselves in pollen, lots of other little critters like to hang around them as well :)
