Solanum muricatum. We omit the "melon" part in South America, to avoid confusion with actual melons.

just want to share that here in the Philippines, pepino or pipino is what we call cucumbers. :)

And Latin America calls cucumbers "Pepinillo" (little pepinos). Go fig.
