Orchids are only RARELY grown from seed. Cuttings are the more normal form of propagation.
My original cymbidium (1991?) was a cutting. I've divided it several times since then and have given away at least fourteen individual plants, each with at least three rhizomes. I still have the mother plant--she has maybe nine or ten rhizomes right now--and four or five daughter plants from the most recent division, Fall 2008.
I very much doubt that you'll receive offers of orchid seeds, in short.

Yes marilyn we are aware of the toxic nature if not handled and grown responsibly we are accually setting up a raised bed with in a Fenced area that is locked that is going to be my wifes personal space that I pretty much stay away from unless invited.. We would never do something to endanger our grandchildren, Pets, or anyone else that may wander up saying oh pretty lets pick.. But seriously thank you for your consern it is truley appreciated

depending on your state, you can get St. John's Wort from here. Sadly, I can't get them in my state
I believe you can also get Rue there as well. I recently ordered from them for some experimenting, and all packages come with estimated seed viability and various tips and directions for growing.
