This is probably a stupid question.

I currently live in a house but it has a small back yard. Would these trees survive in a large pot? At least for a year?

What zone will the trees be hardy in?
I live in 6b and am concerned that they will be too tropical for here.
Also, I am not familiar with the culture or size of the trees.

Sure they would grow in a container you could keep them there for a few years as they grew pot them up to next size pot. I hope this helps you
