Need ideas/help, bush suggestions for front yard!

Hey everyone I'm new here and we're currently in the process of relandscaping the front of our house. We were forced to excavate our cedars since their roots were interfering with some pipes and now we need some suggestions for bushes to replace them.

Here's a picture of the house (pardon the painter's equipment and no shutters):

Now what kind fo bushes/plants should we plant out front that you think would look best? We live in Northern Minnesota if that helps as well.

Northern MN!! Another Minnesotan, I don't know if I can be of much help but I saw you were from Minnesota so I had to say something. What are you looking for? flowering bushes, large or small, berry producing (you know for attracting birds), evergreens, etc.
