Rock gardens
I posted in the wrong area, oh, anyway, is it possible to add mulch to a rock garden. Most plants look great, but the greener plants, like the snowflake candy tuft, have dried out.

Scott is right water is what would be the optimal answer.
However, not everyone can keep adding lots of water to every thing, (like me! ). I do add mulch to my rock garden. I mulch everything! You need to pay attention to what would look appropriate in your particular site though - don't pile on heaps of straw - but some chopped leaves, or cocoa bean shells etc. would be okay.

Thanks Scott.
Also, you may find that with some rockery plants, candytuft is one of them, they do better after you give them a little haircut. They do tend to get a little dried out and ugly looking later in the season. If you trim them a bit, they will branch out and give you some more green. Mulch will certainly not hurt though!
