Winter interest landscape plant

Whats your absolute favorite winter landscape plants(s)?

Trees, shrubs, evergreens, perennials, whatever.

I have too many to pick a favorite, but a few are:

Paperbark maple (Acer griseum),
Arctic Fire Red Twig Dogwood,
Coral bark Japanese maple Acer palmatum ‘Sangokak),
Limber pine (Pinus flexilis),
Candicans white fir (Abies concolor ‘Candicans’)

I love my little Abelia grandiflora (Confetti). Its blooms seem to last forever and the butterflies are always dancing around this shrub. In the Winter the leaves develop a rosy hue and have stayed perky even on frosty days.
