I need help with my Front Yard

:D Hello I need some landscaping ideas, something low maint yet attractive. Most of the flower bed areas get little sun due to the large tree in front. I'm looking for advice and tips on plants, flower, shrubs, etc.etc. The large bushes that are in front of the house are coming down sometime next week I feel they cover to much of the house (I just Moved purchased this home) while were at it how about some color Ideas for the exterior? Thanks everyone! my email is Fernman559@yahoo.com or MSNGR. here are links to pics of the house.

I would start off by building up that bed with the perennial flower in it with mulched up leaves from the surrounding trees and some manure. Next spring, I would add some annual and perennial flowers to the bed (I'm a huge fan of Dahlia's and Dyalilies as well as lillies but, whatver suits your fancy). Anyway, number one, build up that soil.

You are more than welcome. Build up the soil in your other beds as well. And be sure to read the organic lawn care thread in the organic forum.

Does anybody else have any tips?
