I'm not sure what you mean by "globe shaped". The only evergreens I've seen that grow in a true globe shaped were quite small, not more than 3 or 4 feet tall. Is that the shape you're looking for, or do you just mean you want a shrub that's bushy?

This site has a list of various evergreen shrubs, including a description of the shape and size.

Rhododendrons are always nice. They are broadleaf evergreens that produce large and pretty flowers in the spring. They can grow 12 to 15 feet tall and equally as wide, unless you keep them pruned to shape. They take well to pruning. It keeps the foliage looking nice and dense.

There are many other evergreens, of course, including many conifers. Another plant to consider is holly. A large nursery that used to be in the city where I live had a lovely hedge of holly surrounding their grounds. :)
