shade plants for small area by the house

After moving in to my new house I realized that the space I want to landscape is primaily in the shade and I need suggestions on what to put there. I currently have hostas, Lungwort - mrs. moon, Irises, Azalea, florist's cyclamen, angelwing, begonia, coralberry/ spice berry, busy lizzie, Lantana "malan's Gold", the australian Violet, Virginia Bluebells, bugleweed carpet, and lilly-of-the-valley. These are just plants that I like. I am not planning on putting all of these in my small area but I need to know what would look good together and work in a zone 5 climate?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry Todd, you got your freebie. At this point you need to fly me out for a consult for any other sections of the yard you want to landscape... :)

That should not deter anyone else who would like to chip in their two cents...

What I am thinking of putting in are: Astilbe, Helleborus orientalis, Hepatica acutiloba, Bleeding heart, Aster, Azalea, Narcissus 'Magnet', hostas, and Impatiens walleriana 'Scarlet 74 F 20' though the space.

The space is only 12' X 6'. Any suggestions?

Too many plants?
How many of each plant should I use 1, 2, or 3?

Todd
