I want to make a walk way in my back yard and I was wondering wut would be the best materials to use? I already dug myself a trench where I wanted one and filled it with broken brick pieces, I kind of like the way it looks. I really wanted something involving slate so I could grow grass around it though:)

That flagstone you have there is a good look and usually not to expensive, real slate would be. If you want the look of slate at a better price and durability, try bluestone...
