Need help to identify what I'm growing

Husband planted seeds and labeled nothing. He can't remember what he planted. I have tens and tens of seed packets. No clue what I'm growing. Is it fruit or veg? Do I pick now or leave?

Looks like ‘Lemon’ cucumber to me. It’s a prolific, egg-shaped cucumber that is very good when harvested right about now or sooner. Don’t let it get as pure yellow as an actual lemon because seeds will get too tough. The size and shape makes it popular for pickling as well.

Like any cucumber, rub off the — in This case black— prickles when you wash. The skin is tender when lighter yellow.

Let us know what you think of it.
