Leaves turning white - Mildew?

Hello All,

I have started growing few plants and veggies in my backyard. They were growing great (thanks to the guidance from this website). Lately I saw leaves turning white. It started with my rose bush (knockout), but is now spreading to my other plants -
Cuccumber, mint, oregano. Can anyone please suggest what this might be and what should I do??

There's a borer -- caterpillar ...could be beetle... in that stalk -- is that ginger? Don't let it go all the way down to the roots. Cut the stems little at a time to locate and dispose.

Mist of the other except maybe cucumber look like sucking insects under the leaves. Cucumber could be a bit of both -- pest and mildew. Cut off and dispose of all browned and most of yellowed leaves that the plant can afford to lose to assess how bad things are.

Thankyou Applestar. The one with borer is indeed ginger - one of my most anticipated ones and now under stress :(

I did as you suggested for all plants. Thank you for your help!!
