Painters got overspray on leaves & soil - Still Organic?

Hello,
I'm in California and painters got a little bit of exterior overspray on my very young garden.. on leaves and soil. are they safe and are they no longer organic?

I don't know what that would mean in strict legal terms for "organic" but I guess _personally_ I would consider leafy greens and near to harvest crops suspect. Exterior paint, etc. contain additional chemicals, too. You might want to find out exactly what they used and check the MSDS. Are there any heavy metals? Toxic preservatives? VOC?

I would remove affected foliage on the plants before chemicals are absorbed -- the sprayed leaves may die or show damage that would attract pests and diseases anyway.

What is on the soil could be shallowly scraped up and removed before rained in if there is concern.

Thanks so much for your reply. Ya that is what I worry about toxins and heavy metals.. I think I won't chance it and start over
