Can I plant tomatoes where strawberries were?

I have a question:

Can I plant tomatoes where strawberries were in containers/pots?

I've read that they shouldn't be planted together...however I have not read that tomatoes can't be planted where strawberries were.

Can someone please confirm that it's OK or not OK?

Its ok, but you may need to add fertillity to the soil.

I never know you can't plant them together. But I always do and it it's okay.
