landscaping plants (leaves) turning a whitish/yellow color.

my friend has a beautuful landscaped yard. Her plants are all turning a white/yellow. Even the vine of a climbing rose (roses are white flowers anyways) but the whole thing is truning this wierd color. She is on well water too. I sure hope I don't get her problem, because she lives down the street from me. She waters everything daily on a timer. I suspect it is over watering. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like powdery mildew and the attendant chlorosis as the leaves die. Watering every day is TOO MUCH and not good for the plants anyway...
