I know you can kill weeds with boiling water so I guess it would work with steam. Kind of hard for me to get a steamer out to the garden.

Hi, I bet there's something as small as a steam iron, that can be carried out and used with an extention cord. Let me think about it.

You could use a heat gun! You know blows hot air.
