Garlic and grapes

I have a 3' by 6' raised bed. On one side I planted a grape plant and the other I was thinking garlic. Is there any reason this would be a bad idea ?

Here I a picture it is the bed on the right And there is a grape plant hiding on the right in the shadow.

How long is the bed in shade. Both grapes and garlic like 8 or more hours of sun.

This picture was taken early in morning They get about 10 hours. Right now at the end of my season the grapes will get more the taller they get.
