blood meal

Will blood meal draw cats or dogs, or more to the garden? I'm asking as I use to spray my gardens with foliage fish fertilizer and my cat, and the neighbors cats, would roll and nibble on the plants

Fish emulsion for sure attracts both cats and flies.

Okay. Sooo, I can't use fish emulsion as there's lots of cats around and I have 2 dogs so bone meal won't work. How about kelp or seaweed emulsion?

I have a Morkie, Dauschound, & a Yorkiepoo and all three of them go crazy when I open a container with blood meal in it. It's very pungent stuff and animals especially dogs that are natural hunting dogs weather it be rodents or larger hounds they will usually go kind of crazy over it. But once mixed in the soil well and the smell has aired out a little they won't bother the plants.
