pictures of my summers harvest

Hey everybody! I have taken a lot of pictures of my garden so I thought I'd share some recent ones. BTW, my tomatoes are finally starting to turn!

my purple carrot harvest. I actually got one that, umm, shall we say, is an x-rated carrot, pretty funny actually, but didn't want to offend anyone by posting it.

my one head of cauliflower I harvested. It was very bitter tasting. I'm guessing that's why they say don't grow them in 90 degree heat in the summer....

Mtgardengal, that is a lovely, spectacular first harvest! Way to go. Yes, those tomatoes look like yellow pears. As for the questionable carrot, I remember that someone started a thread with weird looking vegetables last year. It was a riot! You might be able to find it with a search and see whether your carrot passes muster.

thanks, Stella!

I did try searching for that thread, but couldn't come up with anything. Maybe someone will remember and post the link!

It took a while, but I found it. I see that many of the photos have been deleted, but you can get an idea of how the thread went, anyway.
