Indoor fertilizing

Hi

What are good fertilizers to use for indoor plants? I've seen a lot of info where people say not to use organic fertilizers indoors because it can invite pests, but I'm not sure if they mean liquid fertilizers also. I'd prefer to use something organic because I don't like having chemicals around that may be toxic or to turn my plants into crackheads.

I recently saw a liquid fertilizer for cacti. Is this necessary or can one fertilizer be used on everything from succulents to flowers and potted trees?

Also, is it good to use different kinds throughout the year with different levels of minerals, or different brands to give the p,ants more variety?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but I do not have much knowledge yet.
