(almost) proud as a new momma!

ok all my new gardening friends!
I am kinda giddy today because today I harvested the very FIRST veggie out of my very FIRST vegetable garden. (yes, organic!)

IT's a pretty little radish that was quite tasty. I wanted to share some pictures and get some feedback. Sorry about sending you to Facebook to look; I don't get the photobucket thing.

Thanks!

That is a gorgeous radish. State fair quality! Nothing here, yet, and there won't be until probably late July. I am growing all the long-season crops. I can't remember the first produce I ever harvested, but each summer's first picking is always the best. I especially love hurrying back into the house with the first tomato :D

Nice radish. There is nothing better then picking your first veg from your own garden.
