TP tubes

So I have a GIANT bag of toilet paper tubes for starting my seedlings. My only question is how small to cut them. Half? 3 pieces? 4?
I'll be starting maters, peppers, and melons for sure today.

I cut TP tubes in half and paper towel tubes in either 3 or 4 depending on what I'm planting (tap root or not).

I went with half They seem a smidge on the large side compared to the usual stuff you buy but 1/3's would have been too small.
