Show off your garden.

I know it's not a good time of year for some of you to be taking photos of your garden but I'm sure that you have some good photos saved on your PC.

Who knows Admin might even make this into a sticky.

If you are willing to sit through eight minutes of slide show, here is my place. I should update the slides, but you get the idea.

Here's the slide show of my garden... It's only 4.5 min, but then I have a lot less garden than DDF! Enjoy..

https://animoto.com/play/Q92PxCULsCZRgpiUgAWuvg?autostart=true

If you click the little square of 4 dots under bottom right of picture it will go to full screen, but then you will have to click the triangle at bottom left for play...

DoubleDogFarm (this is your username right?), you have wonderful garden with many beautiful fruits trees, vegetables, flowers and cutest animal friends.
I am so jealous because I am always dreaming to have large garden where I can plant all kinds of fruits trees, vegetables, flowers and most importantly, I enjoy living with animal friends.
God bless you and all your cutest animal friends!

BugNuts, you sure have maximized the use of your available space by the looks of your pics. The soil you have in the raised beds looks to be nice and rich, and by the way the plants have responded, I think they like it.

I only have one raised bed that is 48 sq. ft. in area and the rest of my garden is a conventional in ground with 5 rows 45 ft. long and a couple of trellises for the vining things to climb on.

The only problem I have with raised beds is the need to bring in garden soil to fill them, but once filled, the soil stays much nicer than the conventional garden. I'd like to have a couple more raised beds for more root crops but I just don't have the room in my yard now. Nice job you did there.

Yes, I do love my Sony camera. I'm more the shy silent type and not good with words, so I hope the pictures help.

No, Not smarter. Just an average guy making do.

I'll have to say, It comes with a price. Not everyone is the 9 to 5 desk jockey. I find myself with lots of time on my hands and little income. My garden is becoming more and more a necessity, less of a hobby.

I do envy what others have. :(

So this is the tale of our castaways,
They're here for a long long time.
They'll have to make the best of things,
It's an uphill climb.

Eric, Jacob and Peppercorn.
