Snails in my Annual pots!

They where eating all my pansy flowers! I must have picked out about fifty of them! Is anyone else having this problem? I think I'll just keep picking them out or use some Diatomacious Earth.

Snails and slugs are the bane of my existence, but most of them are dormant at the moment. It's below freezing outside. I have always found hand-picking them to be the very best control method.

Safest, but time consuming...

I am holding out great hope for a new nematode that passes on a mollusc toxin. I think this could well be the answer to our problem...almost here...
