mushrooms in my containers

Sometimes in the morning I have mushrooms that pop up in my containers. They are small delicate little things and look kind of cool so I've always just left them there. The afternoon sun bakes them and they are usually gone by the next morning. Is it okay to leave them grow like that? I can't imagine that they are damaging my plants in any way, or are they?

...and yes I know the dangers of eating a mushroom that I haven't identified and I no intentions of eating these mushrooms. I just thought they looked cool.

no particular problem. The mushrooms do suggest you are keeping your container soil pretty damp. Depending on what you have in the containers, the constant dampness might be a problem for them, but not the mushrooms.
